DAYS spoilers tease that the truth is finally out! Chanel Dupree spilled the beans about Paulina Price being Lani Price Grant’s biological mother – smack in the middle of Paulina’s wedding to Abe Carver.
DAYS Spoilers Forgiveness Doesn’t Come Easily
Considering all that has happened, it is tough to believe that Lani (Sal Stowers) will ever forgive her for the deception. Should she? What almost 2,000 voters speculated:
Time After Time
Maybe, 64% of you predict, but it had better take a good, long time. What Paulina did wasn’t just some little fib. And it didn’t affect just her and Lani. Abe (James Reynolds) is heartbroken. Chanel (Raven Bowens) is betrayed. Theo (Cameron Johnson) is furious. And Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is exasperated. (The twins, we’re sure, are cranky, too.) The point is, this isn’t the kind of lie that can be papered over with an apology. Paulina (Jackée Harry) has a lot of amends to make. And that takes time. Lots and lots of time.

DAYS Spoilers Never Again
A less forgiving 29% of the audience speculates that Lani never will and never should forgive Paulina. This was a lifelong lie. Lani hasn’t just lost her father today. She also lost the woman she thought of as her mother for decades. Her children lost their grandfather (and Carver his namesake). Lani lost her brother (and gained a sister like Chanel). The point is, her entire life has been destroyed. All because of Paulina. And that’s unforgivable.
Sure Thing
Only 7% predict Lani to listen to Paulina’s explanation about how she gave Lani away in order to protect her from Lani’s abusive biological father, nod her head and say, “Yes, I see. That makes perfect sense. Thank you, Aunt Paulina. I mean, Mommy. Everything is great now. We are one big happy family. Here, hold one of your grandbabies while we all get cupcakes from Chanel’s bakery!”
