DAYS Spoilers Speculation: John’s New Family Breathes Life Into Salem

DAYS spoilers tell us that John has a brand new daddy. Which means he could also get a whole new family. All the previous times when John got a new identity, it meant that he — and, by extension, Brady and Belle — were now related to even more Salem families, which meant their dating pool grew even smaller. But now, there is an unparalleled opportunity to really diversify the Salem genetic pool. And we are all for it.

DAYS Spoilers Speculation: This Land Is Your Land

Timothy (Dick Van Dyke) didn’t remember who he was, where he was from, or what he’d been doing for the past 90 years or so. He recalled being married to John’s (Drake Hogysten) mother, and now we’ve all decided he is John’s father — who needs pesky things like DNA tests? But just like Tim forgot John, he could have forgotten other wives and children, too.

Tall, Dark, and Handsome

For instance…Timothy could have a son just the right age to romance the widowed Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). Or the out-of-her-mind Vivian (Louise Sorel). Why not a triangle? This could really add a kick to the battle over Victor’s (John Aniston) estate. Heck, if Tim’s boy is into crazy, there is always Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). She could date Brady’s uncle to make him jealous. And maybe find out he’s even more nuts than she is. The beauty of a new character like this is that we’d know nothing about him. Which could be worth sticking around to find out.

DOOL Spoilers: Young and Free

But the age that really needs new blood is the twentysomething contingent. Poor Johnny (Carson Boatman). He’s a DiMera and a Brady. No wonder he leaps on any new girl, be it Chanel (Raven Bowens), or Wendy (Victoria Grace). He’s desperate. Maybe Tim has a whole host of granddaughters for him to meet. Despite being named after John, Johnny and his stepgrandpa aren’t blood-related.

DAYS Spoilers: In the Weeds

And then there’s Shawn (Brandon Beemer). He’s a biological Horton, a biological Kiriakis, and a legal Brady. No wonder he clings so tightly to Belle (Martha Madison). She’s his only option. Well, what if Belle’s got some new cousins on her father’s side? Which of Tim’s family could be brought to Salem? This family tree just might start untangling itself!
