Were DAYS spoilers teasing us last week when Johnny and Talia had a scene together? A scene that, dare we say it, showed some sparks? Sure, Johnny is supposedly still smarting from being dumped by Wendy.

And, sure, he has a past with Chanel (Raven Bowens). And, sure, Talia (Aketra Sevillian) played Chanel. And, oh, yeah, she’s a criminal and a bit looney tunes. But, hey, who said the path of true love ever did run smooth? Nobody, that’s who! So here are three good reasons for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Talia to hook up…and maybe more.
DOOL Spoilers: Reason One
They’re both on the rebound. Johnny has the sads over Wendy (Victoria Grace), and Talia just ended a relationship with a guy who not only pimped her out to Chanel but also convinced her to poison biscuits and threaten Paulina (Jackée Harry). They both need a distraction. So why not have sex? That usually works in Salem. For a few minutes.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Reason Two
They can both do it to make Chanel jealous. Which is kind of funny when you think about it. Johnny will sleep with Talia because he thinks it will make Chanel jealous and want him more, and Talia will sleep with Johnny because she thinks it will make Chanel jealous and consider renewing their relationship. Chanel, for her part, is obviously still hung up on Allie (Lindsay Arnold), so it’s kind of pathetic all the way around.
Days of our Lives: Reason Three
They could actually be good for each other! Both have too much history with Chanel, but with each other, they can have a clean slate. But not so clean that they don’t know the bad things about each other. Talia knows that Johnny broke Chanel’s heart. And Johnny knows…all the crap Talia pulled. They’ll have no secrets. Which will make it a rare Salem relationship indeed.
