DAYS spoilers are showing us a Vivian who knows what she wants, and who doesn’t care who needs to be squashed in order for her to get it. If there is one thing 30 years of watching Vivian (Louise Sorel) has taught viewers, it’s that she doesn’t need anyone to destroy her. She does an excellent job of that all by herself. Whether she’s burying people alive or shooting one of her own sons dead, mental stability is not her defining character trait. She’s crack, sooner rather than later.
Woman to Woman
Especially since Vivian has never had an enemy like Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) before. Vivian thinks she can walk all over the former farmgirl and housewife. Has Vivian ever been on a farm? Maggie is tougher than Vivian can imagine.
DAYS Young at Heart
As tech billionaires in hoodies are constantly lecturing us: Young people are just better at everything. This is why, in the end, Vivian’s downfall will come not at the hands of vets like Maggie or Justin, but due to the diligent efforts of Brady (Eric Marstolf), Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), and Theresa (Jen Lilley). They are doing…something in Greece. And that…something will fix…everything. They’ll solve the mystery, break the case, and return home as heroes. Maggie will be so grateful! Thank you, you fine young people.
