DAYS spoilers have made no secret of Chloe’s connection to her ex-love, Philip. Nicole saw it. Even Xander saw it. Chloe and Philip have unfinished business.

And now that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) is back in Salem, not to mention absolved of all crimes and misdemeanors, it’s about time they figure out exactly where they stand.

Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) insists she loves Xander (Paul Telfer) and is ready, willing, and able to marry him. She doesn’t love Brady (Eric Martsolf) anymore. And she hasn’t loved Philip in forever. Yup. She totes sounds like she means it. We are sold!
Days of our Lives: Compare and Contrast
Considering how quickly Chloe lept into not just hiding Philip from the authorities but begging her best high-school pal Belle (Martha Madison) to convince Brady to drop the charges against his uncle, it’s clear she isn’t neutral towards the man.
Even if she’s not ready to leap back into Philip’s arms, at the very least, his reappearance should make it clear to Chloe that what she feels for Xander is nothing compared to what she once felt for Philip. And what she obviously still feels for Brady. She doesn’t have to go running to the next man. But she does have to admit it’s time to ditch this one.
DAYS Spoilers: Destiny’s Child
Then, once Xander is out of the way and Chloe has time to really think things through, she can remember her high school days. (The good stuff, like prom, not the Ghoul Girl stuff.) She can recall how she and Philip were known as Phloe.
How many people thought that was much better than Broe. Besides, Broe didn’t work. Whether it was drugs or his demon seed daughter, Brady has made it clear Chloe will never be his first priority. With Philip, however, he is willing to kill — or at least fake being killed — to make Chloe his. That is totes romantic. And not at all creepy. Or criminal.
