Ava Vitali isn't one to sit still and work on things.
DAYS spoilers sure don’t look like Ava is on the road to recovery. She sees dead people. Literally. And this isn’t her only symptom. She was evil before she started seeing dead people. Which suggests she’s got a lot to work on before her release papers are signed. But will Ava outsmart them all?
Ava (Tamara Braun) has escaped the law multiple times. Sometimes even without faking her death. She is obviously capable of slipping out of her straight-jacket, knocking out a couple of guards, and hitting the road. But, the sad truth is, Ava is safer in the hospital than she is in Salem. Because Salem is where EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is. EJ blames Ava for his mother’s death. Ava may be seeing a dead Susan (Stacy Haiduk), but so is EJ. And he thinks Mother wants revenge.
Ava was able to run around Bayview, chatting with Harris (Steve Burton) because she’s been making progress. But now that she’s attacked an innocent inmate, thinking she’s Susan, we doubt she’ll be able to continue just flitting about. Ava is going to be medicated and restrained. That will make it much harder for her to get out. There are lots of doctors at that hospital. Surely, some of them have some sense?
Harris thought Marlena (Deidre Hall) could help Ava. Marlena is the best of the best. So one of two things will happen: Either Marlena will truly cure Ava and personally sign the documents testifying to her newfound sanity…or Ava will put on an awesome act and completely snow Marlena. She’ll make Marlena believe that Ava is all better now. Ava will trick Marlena into springing her. And then she’ll make EJ sorry he ever even considered revenge.
