DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Alex Takes Over Titan

DAYS spoilers left Alex all shook up over the news that he is Victor’s son, not Justin’s. He had some trouble processing the news. Both about his paternity and about inheriting half of Victor’s estate.

But Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) has bounced back before. He’ll bounce back again. Will he bounce straight into the job he thought he should have had all along?

DAYS: The Aunts Go Marching One by One

Alex is truly fond of Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). He was honestly happy to hear that Victor’s (John Aniston) new will cut out Vivian (Louise Sorel) and left 50% of his holdings to Maggie. He wanted his aunt to be taken care of.

He was also furious to hear that the other half didn’t go to Justin (Wally Kurth), Victor’s favorite nephew and the closest thing he had to a true son. Yes, Bo (Peter Reckell) is his biological child. No, except for his weird, brainwashed state, he was always more Brady than Kiriakis. But then Alex got the news that he was the true heir.

Days of our Lives: Alexander the Great

When Alex thought he was merely Victor’s great-nephew, he still thought he deserved to be CEO of Titan. He went out and made deals and only stopped when Victor removed him from the position and installed Maggie instead. Alex has something to prove. And now he has the means to do it.

Alex told Justin that when he thought he was his son, he liked to believe that there could be some good in him, thanks to his dad. Now that he knows both his biological parents were horrible people, that aspiration is out the window.

So Alex could, in theory, embrace his inner “Uncle” Vic and go full-out evil mogul. But there’s still a bit of Justin left in him. Not to mention Adrienne (Judi Evans), who was more of a mother to him than Anjelica, and who was a living saint. So until Alex decides whether to listen to the angel or to the devil on his shoulder, he and Maggie can share the CEO position. Like Victor would have wanted.
