DAYS Spoilers Speculation: A Guilty Leo Confesses All to Gwen

DAYS spoilers keep wanting us to believe that Leo’s heart might grow three sizes and he’ll break enough to tell best gal pal Gwen the truth: The guy who’s marrying her, has also been bedding Leo.

And obviously, he prefers Leo (Greg Rikaart), because…duh, who wouldn’t? Now Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is about to walk down the aisle with the man. Will Leo stop her from ruining her life? And would it be for Gwen’s sake…or for his?

DOOL Spoilers: Every Man For Himself

On the one hand, when has Leo ever sacrificed himself for another person? He made some noises Dimitri’s (Peter Porte) way about his love for Gwen and how no, please, they shouldn’t, it would be wrong, no….but he was about as convincing as Willy Wonka telling the kids, “No…don’t…stop.” He may have been trying to convince himself. But he didn’t convince us.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Better Man

Leo is also trying to convince himself that he wants to be a better man. It’s not really working at the moment. But you know what would help the self-delusion? If he did tell Gwen about Dimitri. Leo will insist he’s only thinking of her, and her welfare. But we really do hope that Gwen comes back with the obvious accusation that, no, Leo is doing it so he can have Dimitri for himself.

Leo Stark: No Spine

But, the main evidence pointing towards Leo coming clean is even less about him wanting Dimitri and more that the dude has no self-control. If he did, he wouldn’t have slept with Dimitri in the first place. Now, he won’t be able to keep their secret. Leo isn’t so much a bad person, as he is a child who acts on all his impulses without any thought for the consequences. He won’t tell Gwen the truth because he’s a decent person and he wants to spare his friend any pain. He’ll tell her because he’s just bad at…most things.
