DAYS spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera and Lucas Horton are running around Salem, trying to keep Sami’s husband, EJ DiMera, from learning about her affair with her ex-husband. But since this is Days of our Lives, you know that secret will eventually be revealed.
It’s only a matter of time before EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) finds out, either from the charred remains of Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) letter or from Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and boyfriend Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) using it as leverage. How will EJ react? Here’s what almost 3,000 of you are predicting:
A majority 53% of the audience expect EJ to go nuts when he first makes the discovery. He’ll lash out at Sami (Alison Sweeney). He may punch out Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). He’ll probably blame everyone in sight.
But, eventually, you also expect him to calm down. It’s not like he hasn’t cheated on Sami. And it’s not like their relationship isn’t the height of dysfunction. This is just par for the course. Deal with it, and move on, Elvis.
A smaller 25% of the audience predicts the opposite will happen: EJ will never forgive “Samantha.” How could any woman even think of cheating on him? He’s tall! And rich! And faux European! And… tall. The point is, he’s perfect, and Sami is a slut. He’ll make her pay for this. Maybe even by invoking their long-unseen son, Johnny.
And then there’s the overly optimistic 21% of the fans who actually speculate that EJ will realize Sami’s cheating is – at least partially – his fault. He pushed her away, he made her feel less than…and he wasn’t there to support her during Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape trauma. Sami was left to fend for herself. And there was Lucas. Happy to help with the fending. He already apologized for his behavior. Now he should accept the consequences.
