Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Belle (Martha Madison) meet up at the pub to share a lovely moment. Belle is happy Kayla and Marlena (Deidre Hall) are home, but of course, they both worry for Kate (Lauren Koslow). Luckily, Kate’s rescuers are on their way.
At the same time, Roman (Josh Taylor) is treated to a visit with his nephew Shawn (Brandon Beemer). It’s not all sunshine and roses, though. Shawn’s guilt over shooting Bo (Peter Reckell) is eating away at him. And, of course, Roman is worried for his wife. By the end of the day, at least one of them will be smiling.
Mission Bring Kate Home kicks into high gear with Steve (Stephen Nichols), Harris (Steve Burton), and Chad (Billy Flynn) storming the scene. Dimitri (Peter Porte) isn’t going to surrender so easily. Will our Salem favorites make it off the ship unscathed?
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas, and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
