Melinda (Tina Huang) stops to see Salem’s newest wedded couple. No, not EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) are hoping she has good news for them. Is it the news they have been longing for? Is there a baby in their future? Or will they be sorely disappointed?
Later, Eric runs into Nicole, who looks like she is ready to give birth any day now. Awkward. It seems that there is no escaping the history that they share. He’s carrying a large box, and she cradles her growing stomach.
While he’s in town, Eric stops at the Brady Pub to see his father. It is always nice to talk to his dad, and he has a lot on his mind. Does Roman (Josh Taylor) have sage advice for his son? At a different time, Nicole also has a chat with Roman at the pub.
Meanwhile, Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) have obviously escaped Jada (Elia Cantu) or are trying to, driving around at night, trying to come up with a plan to stay out of jail when they spot Nicole. Does she see them, and why is she swerving?
