Harris Michaels makes a pal at Bayview.
Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 9, 2023, show the calm scene at Bayview, paving the way for peace between Ava and Harris. This is one episode you will not want to miss.
Ava (Tamara Braun) hasn’t had the easiest year and could certainly use some relief. She isn’t exactly enjoying her time being locked away. She’s struggling to get her head right and heal from a lifetime of traumas that have manifested in her mind being “controlled” by her dead son Charlie. Perhaps, Harris (Steve Burton) can help pave the way.
He’s in much the same boat. He’s been dealing with having his mind controlled by Dr. Rolf’s conditioning. Much like Ava, he could use a friend who understands not being able to trust what your mind is telling you. Is this the most ideal place to find an ally? Probably not. It’s not the worst, though. Maybe a little trauma bonding will do them both some good.
Speaking of healing, Abe (James Reynolds) is also facing an uphill battle. He’s unsure of just about everything and everyone in his life. That’s not going to stop Paulina (Jackée Harry) from advocating for him, though. She makes a plea on Abe’s behalf. She’s a good woman who fully intends to stand by her man…whether he likes it or not.
At the same time, Chanel (Raven Bowens) leans on Johnny (Carson Boatman). Her life is full of woes now that Sweet Bits has been shut down by the acting mayor, and he’s more than happy to hear all about it. In fact, there is no place he would rather be. Will sparks fly as he sits down and hears her out?
Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) sets up a romantic night for Wendy (Victoria Grace). He hopes this surprise will sweep her right off her feet, especially after their last few fails. This sweet couple could use a win…and a night truly all to themselves.
