DAYS Spoilers For July 9, 2021: Xander’s Got Gwen’s Back

The DAYS spoilers for Friday, July 9, 2021, tease two criminals closing ranks, a victim making herself heard, and an adulterous wife continuing to snow her husband…or so she hopes.

DAYS Spoilers Highlights

When Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) begins to suspect that his daughter, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) might be hiding something about her relationship with dead Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry), Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) jumps to her defense.

Which shouldn’t appear at all suspicious. After all, it’s not like the two of them were just acting like two petulant school children or anything. Will Jack catch on? Let’s remember this is the same guy who didn’t realize they had their feet propped up on the guy’s dead body so odds are looking pretty good for Xander and Gwen at this point.

DOOL Spoilers: Standing Her Ground

Call her mad if you will, but amnesiac Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) just hasn’t gotten over the fact that her niece tried to flambé her alive not once, but twice! So, it shouldn’t be so surprising that DAYS spoilers warn that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) has to intervene when Ciara and Claire (Isabel Durant) engage in a war of words.

Meanwhile, a dejected Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) turns to Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and seeks her sage wisdom – which we’re pretty sure she’ll happily provide. She has proven herself a good sounding board to Ben ever since advocating for his release.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire

As far as Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is concerned, all is well. Sure, she’s deceiving her husband – which is never, NEVER a good thing to do – but at least she managed to ensure that he didn’t get to set his peepers on the letter that would have outed her affair with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). That’s a win in Sami’s book.

But EJ DiMera is not a simple nor stupid man. DAYS spoilers tease that Sami’s tricks may keep him fooled for now, but there’s a timer on this secret and it’s being held by his sister, Kristen DiMera. How long before she gets in touch again and this time doesn’t allow Sami to put her off?
