DAYS spoilers for Friday, January 6, 2023, promise Kristen DiMera is shocked to find that the orchid is missing and everything goes very, very wrong fast.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) finally caved and agreed to give up the life-saving flower. She knows she’s lost the battle, and it’s time to give up having the upper hand. Plus, there is no way Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will ever love her again if she keeps this hanging over his head. Kristen doesn’t exactly love doing the right thing, but hey, doing all the wrong ones isn’t exactly working for her anymore, so why not?
Unfortunately for everyone, things go completely awry. Kristen opens up the door to retrieve the plant, and it’s gone! Poof! Nowhere to be found! How can this be? Where did it go? Who has it now? Kristen and Brady panic, and rightfully so. The orchid is desperately needed, and lives are at stake. This is a twist they didn’t see coming and complicates this already awful situation.
While Brady and Kristen hope and pray they find the flower, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) takes a very sudden turn. She goes down hard and is now fighting for her life once again. Her illness comes on fast and furious, and she needs the antidote NOW!

Meanwhile, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) heads to the condo to confess what he’s done. He opens up to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) about his little master plan. How will they take the news? Will Marlena be proud of her son or worried about this dark side that’s coming out? Eric has always been the one with a kind heart, so seeing him scheming — even for good reason — is shocking, indeed.
Creating some drama of his own is Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). He makes a decision that could change his entire future. What is this fateful thing he chooses to do? Does he say something that destroys his romance with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)? Get into a fight with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)? Just wait and see!
