Marlena (Deidre Hall) is so in love with her husband, John (Drake Hogestyn), but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t see that he is having some issues he needs to deal with. As a first-class talker — well, it IS her profession, after all, she wishes that he’d open up to her.
On the couch, they try to talk, but John obviously doesn’t want Doc to worry about him. He hopes kissing her will put her mind at ease, but she’s not that easily swayed. Does he even realize there may be merit to what she’s saying?

Perhaps he does because he stops in Horton Town Square when he sees his best friend, Steve (Stephen Nichols)? Will he tell him what is going on? Or is he the one with the questions in this case? It has seemed like Steve is holding back something. Will this be the day he tells his best friend everything?
