Days of our Lives Weekly Update: Anger, Acquaintances, and Apologies

Days of our Lives spoilers weekly update for April 5 – 9, 2021 reveal threats, a truce, and a new prime suspect.

This week ended with Jan waking from her coma ready to stir up trouble. She immediately summoned Belle and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) into her hospital room and made her requests and threats known. Jan must make some scary threats because the conversation leaves Belle and Shawn reeling.

The biggest surprise of all comes when Abigail and Gwen call a truce. Whatever Jack said to Abigail must have worked, at least in the short-term. Will the sisters give peace a chance or be back to hating each other in a matter of days?

A not so surprising fact is that Rafe (Galen Gering) hasn’t caught the person or persons responsible for Charlie’s (Mike Manning) murder. He does manage to factor one person out and finds himself a new prime suspect, however.

Chanel (Precious Way) made quite a splash when she showed up in town. She tried to scam Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Claire (Isabel Durant) out of money, laid a guilt trip on her mother, and flirted it up with Theo (Cameron Johnson). It seems Chanel is the one Theo broke up with recently while in South Africa.

Jan (Heather Lindell) woke up from her coma and caused all sorts of drama. John (Drake Hogestyn) worried he would end up behind bars so Belle (Martha Madison) jumped into action. She put her best legal eagle foot forward to stop Jan from destroying her family.

April Fools was a day of jokes in Salem. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gave birth to Stefano’s baby, Xander (Paul Telfer) made out with Bonnie (Judi Evans), and Sami (Alison Sweeney) tortured John. It was all fun and games until a scene between Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) went sideways and Claire (Isabel Durant) ended up killing her. But no worries — none of it was real!
