Weekly Update Transcript

The new year got off to an incredible start on Days of Our Lives this week, and we can feel the drama growing darker!

Ben and Ciara had quite the confrontation after the truth about the young man’s past came to light, and that was only made worse by the truth about his present.

While they were breaking up, Chad was doing his best to get he and Abby back together, employing Julie’s help in throwing a dinner party for her whole family.

One member of that family – Jack – had a fairly difficult time on his own, too, after Eve did her best to seduce him… but thoughts of having kissed Jennifer kept dancing through his mind.

It looks like we’re in for further gloom! Here are the spoilers!

Jennifer makes continued efforts at reconnecting with Jack, doing anything that she can to help the man remember the life that they used to have.

Meanwhile, Chad and Abigail actually grow closer… and Kate advises the young woman to think about forgiving him.

A different couple will have still another rocky moment, though, when Rafe tells Hope that he needs to help Sami… and he departs from Salem.
