DAYS Weekly Recap

We had a pretty intense week on Days of our Lives, seeing some milestones that we won’t soon forget! Rafe was dealt a devastating blow when Zoey left town with David, and even though she said that he could visit at any time, the farewell was a difficult one.

It was an arrival that shocked quite a few other people, though, when Allie showed up at Eric’s place… and revealed that she was pregnant.

Of course, it was Claire’s impending presence that was on so many other people’s minds, and now that she’s been released from Bayview, it seems like anything could happen. We’ve covered a lot of ground, and there’s moreover the horizon! Here are the spoilers!

DAYS Weekly Teasers

Following Claire’s return to Salem, it quickly becomes clear that she had some ulterior motives in mind… and that John and Marlena have been tricked. Jake’s situation grows murkier at the same time and is only complicated by a chance run-in with Julie.

The quest to rescue Gabi will be at the forefront of his mind, though… and it will be aided when Eli and Lani embark on their own mission to find her.

Days of our Lives’s History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime dramas in American history. It has outlasted other soap operas to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

DAYS is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
