Things got pretty dark on “Days of Our Lives” this week, and the real gloom is about to descend. Theresa was awarded custody of Tate, then quickly left Salem after discovering that her mother’s cancer had returned, taking the young boy with her.

Questions of parentage also haunted Abigail, who learned that Stefan had gotten her pregnant… and Gabi made sure to “accidentally” let that little detail slip out.

Ben’s situation might have been worst of all, though, especially after Rafe and Hope presented the man with evidence that he had started the fire at the cabin. Everyone is disturbed, and next week will be devastating. Here are the spoilers.

After learning that his wife is pregnant with Stefan’s child, Chad angrily confronts his half-brother, leading to an all-out brawl between them.

Elsewhere in Salem, Kayla anxiously awaits good news in the aftermath of Steve’s surgery. There’s some shaky hope, but also the beginnings of panic, especially after Will receives still another cryptic note… and Sonny suggests a potentially unwise reaction.
