Everything was heating up on Days of our Lives this week, with several situations starting to sizzle. The truth about Princess Gina finally came to light.
However, she kept quiet about Stefano’s real identity… even as Stefano himself manipulated Kayla into helping him. Gabi’s plot was revealed, as well, sending the wedding into disarray after she was caught trying to sabotage Julie’s pacemaker.
One thing that stayed hidden was the truth about Mickey: After the test results failed to return a match for anyone, Victor and Xander were sent into something of an emotional spiral. We spent this week in the frying pan, but the next one will bring us into the fire! Here are the spoilers!
In the aftermath of the chaos at the wedding, Lani does her best to explain her actions, hoping to make Eli understand everything that has happened between them. A different revelation sends Rafe on a new pursuit, as he and Justin try to determine where Kayla has gone. Life will also grow more complex for Will, who begins to reconsider his choice to stay quiet… knowing that he may lose Sonny for good.
Things have certainly been ramping up lately, with more twists and turns on the way! There’s so much happening at once that it’s easy to miss occasional details… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime dramas in American history. It has outlasted other soap operas to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades’s worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
DAYS is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
