While the genuine article struggles to escape from the DiMera mansion wine room, imposter Kate (Lauren Koslow) is forced to fend off Roman’s (Josh Taylor) romantic overtures.

Turns out, Roman just didn’t pick up on the more salient points of his and Kate’s last conversation. Sure, Kate stated categorically that she wasn’t interested in getting back together. And yeah, she did say that she was in love with Jake (Brandon Barash) and wanted to be with only him. But surely she didn’t mean it…right?

At the same time, a newly dumped, and completely devastated, Jake once again crosses paths with Gabi (Camila Banus) and the sparks fly – as they tend to do.

All Fall Down

In the aftermath of her tumble down a staircase, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) tells a horrific lie. Despite knowing that she had miscarried her child with Chad (Billy Flynn) hours earlier, she pins the loss on Abigail (Marci Miller) and insists that she was pushed by her angered sister.

Back at the DiMera mansion, Chad and Jack (Matthew Ashford) are desperate to get to the bottom of the confrontation between the two women. Both men saw the horrific aftermath, but neither the beginning nor the immediate lead up to Gwen’s fall.

Is it possible that Abby deliberately shoved Gwen? Did they really overhear Abby shout that she wanted Gwen and her baby out of her life for good?
