The Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 5, 2021, tease a potentially interesting fact coming to light, a mother’s protective instincts kicking into high gear, and the hope that family ties really do bind people together.
While a fed-up Melinda (Tina Huang) presses John (Drake Hogestyn) to implicate Belle (Martha Madison) in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder, the suspect in question has a stunning realization about the crime.
And since we know that she’s innocent, we can guarantee that she doesn’t suddenly remember pulling the trigger – though, for argument’s sake, that would be stunning. So, what could she possibly realize?
Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Jan (Heather Lindell) cross paths, and the exchange that results is tense and frosty. It turns out that Mama Lockhart still hasn’t forgiven Jan for all the terrible things she did to Bonnie’s precious Mimi.
Like how she “totally forced” Mimi to join in her “Terrorize and Publicly Humiliate Chloe” scheme. Or how she blackmailed Mimi over the secret abortion she underwent…okay, that one we’ll give Bonnie. And we’ll throw in the whole, she tried to blow Mimi and the rest of the “Last Blast Gang” to Kingdom Come as well.
But let’s not forget that it was an argument with Mimi that led to Jan’s falling into a decade-long coma. Seems like bygones should be bygones at this point.
Chanel (Precious Way) has a huge favor to ask of Lani (Sal Stowers) – would she, pretty please, despite having a husband and two newborns to look after, and please don’t forget they’re family, would she let Chanel move into the apartment? Just as a temporary measure?
Chanel’s pretty sure that once Paulina (Jackée Harry) returns from Miami that she’ll welcome her back with open arms…but, until then, she’s stuck without a place to go. And it’s not like she can room with Xander (Paul Telfer), the rich husband who isn’t.
So, what do you say, cuz? Is that couch a pull-out or what? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
