Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 14, 2020 promise another dramatic day in Salem. Everyone holds their breath as Evan awaits his fate, Abby suffers another blow, and Lani decides today is the day to come clean. Make sure to tune in so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
It’s the moment of truth of Evan (Brock Kelly). The case is over and all that’s left is the verdict. Will he be convicted or will he get away with murder? Expect fingers to cross as people on both sides await the big news.
Whatever happens, it will have a huge effect on baby David. If his dad is innocent he’ll go home with Evan and Orpheus. If Daddy is guilty it means the custody battle of the century will resume.
Meanwhile, Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) condition continues to deteriorate and it’s not looking good. Chad (Billy Flynn) and her parents rally around her. Sadly, their love alone will not be enough. Abby needs serious help. Will she agree to get the treatment she desperately needs?
Speaking of needing a break, Jake (Brandon Barash) demands one from Gabi (Camila Banus). She’s determined to remind him of his past life but he’s quite content in the present, thank you very much. In fact, even if he was Stefan, he has no desire to go back to that drama.
Over at the station, Lani (Sal Stowers) decides it’s time to step up and suffer the consequences of her actions. She helped an attempted murderess escape and disappear. It was wrong in the eyes of the law no matter how right it felt at the time.
Will Eli (Lamon Archey) stop her from spilling all? And, if not, how will Rafe react? He’s under a lot of pressure with Evan’s verdict and definitely does not need this address stress.
