It’s is a big day for Joey (James Lastovic). The jailbird gets a surprise visit from Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Well, aren’t they a sight for sore eyes? But, why have they come?
Sort Of Innocent
Joey is in for the shock of his life when he finds out he is not a killer. No, son, Ava (Tamara Braun) is still very much alive and back in Salem. There was no murder and his parents vow to get him free as fast as they possibly can.
This is such a huge relief for the young man. Oh, sure, he put that pillow over Ava’s face and technically she died, but now that she’s resurrected, he can get back to real life.

Rising Suspicions
Meanwhile, Jennifer (Cady McClain) wonders if Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) night with Kate (Lauren Koslow) is more than a fleeting passion. Is it really over? Did Jack’s betrayal end right after it began? Jen wants to believe he is true to her but one can only wonder.
Watch Your Back!
Spoilers show Kate has her hands full over at the mansion when she corners Gwen (Emily O’Brien). She puts the DiMera nanny on notice and warns her to keep her nose out of everyone’s business.
Little does Kate expect what happens next. Instead of running scared or shaking in her boots, Gwen takes a stand. No, YOU stay in YOUR lane, Kate. Gwen warns she is not going anywhere.
A Bad Date
Bonnie (Judi Evans) dolls herself up and gets ready for her date. Oh, and what a date it will be, but not in the way she thinks. She reads the room all the wrong way, and reads Justin wrong, as well.
