Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 28 reveal a day of truth, consequences, and suspense throughout Salem. You won’t want to miss a moment of this edge-of-your-seat episode.

The Family Gathers
Now that the almost-wedding was destroyed by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), everyone’s dealing with the fallout.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been shot and is fighting for her life with her family gathered in the hospital to hold vigil by her bedside.

As she’s wheeled into surgery for a life-saving procedure, expect John (Drake Hogestyn) to not leave his Doc’s side for a second.

And after everything she did at the wedding, including shooting her own mother, Sami (Alison Sweeney) is arrested by none other than Rafe (Galen Gering).

Looks like she was the one who #ShotTheBride — or did she? This also leads to a showdown with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) in the not-too-distant future. But it doesn’t look like it will have anything to do with what happened to Marlena.

Sami is also still reeling over Kristen’s revelation about EJ still being alive. As for Kristen, she reveals to Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she has someone he loves. Is this for real or is this another one of Kristen’s manipulations in her vendetta quest?

The Will-Paul-Sonny Love Triangle Continues
As the memories of Will’s (Chandler Massey) life with Sonny (Freddie Smith) came rushing back to him, he sealed the deal with a kiss with his “husband for life.”

While these two are nothing if not passionate for one another, there’s still one wrinkle in their reunion: Paul (Christopher Sean), who is now fully aware that Will is keeping a secret.

Paul is already suspicious of Will and Sonny after their adventures with Leo and Ted, but is Will finally going to spill the beans? He has told Sonny he still loves Paul, but sometimes old feelings die hard — especially when memories return.
