Days of our Lives spoilers for December 23-27, 2019 reveal a week of happiness, despair, surprises, and joy all wrapped in a Salem holiday bow. It’s definitely going to be a week to remember all-around as DAYS is not preempted and even airs on Christmas.

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is thrilled to have family all in the Horton House for Christmas after Jennifer was missing the year before (which was our 2019). A lonely Nicole (Arianne Zucker) spends the holiday with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Holly, while Sarah gets Xander for a surprise all the way in Boston.
Meanwhile, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) still misses Steve (Stephen Nichols) but when Santa shows up a the hospital, there’s something awfully familiar about one of his eyes. Days of our Lives History
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more with newer pairs like Lani and Eli. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
