Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) secret plans for the square are closer to becoming a reality and she is excited. Maybe a little too excited. Will she get caught talking a little too loudly to her contractor? Maybe, seeing as how Lani Grant runs into her auntie in the square and overhears her saying she can’t tell Abe something.

Either way, we’re sure Paulina will find a way to cover her tracks, or at least distract. She has a way with people. Even if she can’t fool Lani she’ll surely fool Abe Carver (James Reynolds). He is quite smitten and love can be blinding.

Definitely causing a fuss is Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). He runs into Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and has a few too many things to say. Tensions rise as these three face-off.

Philip realizes Brady Black is a definite threat and turns up the heat with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). He takes her into his arms for a hot and heavy kiss. Will this be a turning point for the former lovebirds?

Speaking of love triangles, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) makes herself a third wheel when she interrupts Rafe (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) date night. She and duke overstay their welcome and take up even more space in Rafe Hernandez’s head.

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
