Seeing them terrifies her because she knows exactly what it means. She’s closer to death than anyone could imagine.
Of course, Marlena uses their presence to her advantage, at least for a few moments. She questions these familiar spirits to see if her nemesis Kristian is really dead or if she remains a constant threat to the people Marlena loves.
It’s a terrifying question with an even more terrifying answer.
Will Marlena Choose Life?
Everything in Marlena’s life comes into perspective as she hangs between life and death. She has to decide if she is willing to keep fighting or if she’s ready to rest in eternal peace.
Will she choose to live or will her family suffer a loss so great no one will ever recover?
(OK, we can be pretty sure Marlena lives to see another day, but seeing some old favorites during her journey will surely be fun.)
