Days of our Lives Spoilers: It’s a Mother of a Day in Salem

Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, May 10, celebrate Mother’s Day early, as Chanel asks Johnny if he really wants to be a father, especially to this particular child.

Parenthood

EJ made it clear to Johnny (Carson Boatman) that he doesn’t think Johnny and Chanel (Raven Bowens) continuing with a pregnancy that’s been medically compromised is a good idea. Johnny angrily pushed back and told his dad he wasn’t about to tell his wife what she should do with her own body.

But this isn’t about Chanel’s body. It’s about Chanel and Johnny’s child. Chanel understands it, even if Johnny doesn’t. Which is why she’s the one who asks him what he really wants to do. Meanwhile, Paulina (Jackée Harry), who is to blame for all of this, has, in that special Paulina way, made the crisis all about herself. Now it’s Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) turn to hear her grandson’s mother-in-law whine about it.

Grave Concerns

Chad (Billy Flynn) chooses to celebrate the holiday by taking Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte to Abby’s grave. Would you be shocked to find it empty? We wouldn’t!

Bless the Beats and the Children

Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) has already expressed her guilt to Melinda (Tina Huang) that she might not have done what was best for Jude. Now, Eric (Greg Vaughan) plays on her guilt — without even realizing it — by giving Sloan a Mother’s Day gift. Will she buckle from the pressure?

Strangers in the Night

Finally, Jude’s real mom, Nicole (Arianne Zucker), arrives for her celebratory brunch with EJ and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) at the Bistro, only to find Theresa (Emily O’Brien) already there with Tate (Leo Howard). Salem has only one vaguely upscale eatery. Why is Nicole shocked? Or was this something Tate and Holly planned all along?
