The Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, features a stern warning, a friend taking another into her confidence, and two hostages in dire straits.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlight

Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) has a lot to answer for. Were it not for his aw-shucks, Dudley-Do-Right ways, Brady (Eric Martsolf) wouldn’t be in the hospital, Kate (Lauren Koslow) wouldn’t have two severe brain traumas, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) wouldn’t be marooned on DiMera Island, Chloe (Naida Bjorlin) wouldn’t be in the trunk of a car, and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) wouldn’t be operating in berserker mode.

But Eli just had to arrest Kristen for stabbing Victor (John Aniston) – one of the two men who allowed her to believe that her baby had died soon after birth. He just couldn’t let that act of retribution go unpunished, despite Victor wanting him to drop the charges.

And now, Kristen’s on the warpath, Eli knows it, and he apprises Lani (Sal Stowers) of the situation. Mrs. Grant swears she’ll keep her guard up and that she’ll turn her friend in should she reach out. Irony of ironies, who should Lani walk into while out on a walk but Kristen in full Susan Banks drag.

Meanwhile, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has something of importance to get off her chest – and who better to confide her one-night stand in than good ole Ava Vitali. (Tamara Braun).

Tourist Trap

Despite the quite generous wine selection, and the opportunity provided for a little romantic interlude, Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) become desperate to find a way out of the DiMera mansion’s drinks room cum dungeon.

Lucas gives his ex a boost in the hopes that they can find an escape route through the ductwork, but that moves proves disastrous….and painful!

Dangerous

Simultaneously, Xander (Paul Telfer) is seriously considering a return to the dark side – but he developed this nagging, little thing called a conscience, and it’s telling him that murdering Sami and Lucas isn’t the right move…in spite of all the greenbacks that Kristen promised. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
