Days of Our Lives Spoilers (DOOL): Can Someone Save Brady From Himself?

Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for August 14-18 promise a week of shattered lives and incredible lies throughout Salem.

Downward Spiral
When an over-the-edge Brady (Eric Martsolf) ransacks Eric’s room thinking he’ll find evidence that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is cheating on him, he finds something else instead that leads him to believe Eric (Greg Vaughan) killed Deimos.

He may now believe that Nicole is not sleeping with Eric (or does he?) but that doesn’t stop his downward spiral back into the world of alcohol.

In fact, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) returns to town and confronts her old lover about his drinking. She also wonders if Eric has feelings for Nicole, despite his denials.

By the end of the week, Nicole and Brady have a HUGE confrontation and could reach a breaking point.

Who Done It?
The mystery of who killed Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) spills into other stories as Sonny (Freddie Smith) finally remembers something key from that fateful night.

After that, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Sonny’s fate is decided.

A Tragic Story
The Johnsons have their own heartache as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) does everything she can to talk Joey (James Lastovic) out of going to the police about Ava’s murder.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) also goes to Roman (Josh Taylor) for advice on Joey’s need to atone for his sins. However, Kayla is also stunned when Tripp apologizes to her for everything he’s done.

Things Get Wacky
In Doppelgänger Land, things get trippy, so to speak. Marlena (Deidre Hall) finally reaches John (Drake Hogestyn) and pleads for help, confusing him more than ever with facts.

Meanwhile, Hattie cozies up to Roman and when John learns about this new development, he decks Roman. Oy.

A dazed Eric can’t believe his eyes when he walks into Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Hattie’s party, while at the prison Adrienne does everything she can to convince her fellow jailmates that she’s not Bonnie.

Things Get Weird
At the cop shop, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) are determined to find Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) partner and soon they think they have–Abe. They arrest the poor mayor just before Lani (Sal Stowers) tells JJ (Casey Moss) about her surprising decision.
