Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for Thursday, August 9 features the demise of the Chabby relationship, as Chad walks out on Abby… possibly for good.
Chad Walks Out, Possibly Forever
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) still wants a piece of “Gabby” – Abby’s (Marci Miller) alter ego – that he’ll never get back.
But he’s still desperately in love with Gabby/Abby, so he’ll settle for seeing the child that they created out of love for one another instead.
And Stefan’s request to know his child couldn’t come at a better time, because Abby’s already reconsidering her hardline stance against Stefan not seeing his baby.
Maybe that confrontation with Kate (Lauren Koslow) about her forcing Chad to accept Stefan’s baby as his own made some sense to Abby.
But seeing Stefan put his hand on his wife’s stomach is too much for Chad, who’s already told Marlena (Deidre Hall) that he’s at the breaking point, and it looks like he’s going to walk out on Abby…possibly for good.

Meanwhile, there’s more heartache looming in Salem, as it looks like Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has taken Rafe’s (Galen Gering) suggestion about making Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) leave town.
Sure, it’s to protect Ciara (Victoria Konefal), but it’s sure to break a lot of hearts if she succeeds. Hope offers Ben an ultimatum, but Ciara will try to convince Ben to stay in Salem.
What Did She Do? Well, We Know
Finally, we’re going to pick up on the Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) story as John (Drake Hogestyn) tries to convince Steve to talk to Kayla about her secret.
It makes sense, really, since Kayla is going to help Marlena prepare for her wedding to John.
The reality of what happened is sure to send shockwaves throughout the not-so-sleepy sleepy town of Salem.
