Days of our Lives Spoilers December 13: Xander and Philip Go To War

Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 13, end the week with the beginning of Xander and Philip’s battle for Titan. Salem is taking sides — how about you?

The Women Behind the Men

Xander (Paul Telfer) only recently found out that he’s Victor’s (John Aniston) son, but being handed the family company did go a long way towards soothing Xander’s ruffled feathers. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), on the other hand, grew up as the Kiriakis heir — although constantly hearing how he didn’t live up to the name.

At the time of Victor’s death, Daddy and Mommy had also just faked Philip’s death to protect him from taking responsibility for his criminal actions, which is why Victor left his holdings to Xander, not Philip. But why let the law stand between getting what you want? Philip and Vivian (Louise Sorel) forged a new will, giving Titan to Victor’s legitimate heir.

So now it’s time to fight it out. Philip, at least, has the decency to be embarrassed about his deception in front of Stephanie (Abigail Klein) — though not embarrassed enough to, you know, not commit fraud. Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) stands by Xander. If she did it when he was in the wrong, the least she can do is stick by him when Xander is in the right.

Employee Wanted

The Salem Police Department is critically understaffed. Probably because Paulina (Jackée Harry) isn’t the greatest boss in the world, demanding magic results without allocating enough resources to make them happen.

They desperately need to hire more cops, which is why Jada (Elia Cantu) offers Shawn (Brandon Beemer) his old job back. Sure, he’s an alcoholic who shot his own dead. But beggars can’t be choosers.

Cut It Out

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is being mean to Brady (Eric Martsolf) about seeing Rachel (Finley Rose Slater). Brady is sad. Brady and Ava (Tamara Braun) are friends now. So Ava yells at Kristen. Yeah, that’s going to be the thing that does it.
