The Days of our Lives spoilers for August 31-September 4, 2020 reveal the ascension of two company bosses, the return of a native son, and so much more.
The vacant CEO position at Titan continues to cause trouble for the Kiriakis patriarch. His nephew has politely asked to be reinstated as the company’s steward and his son has attempted to emotionally blackmail him into giving him the title.
So what option is Victor (John Aniston) left with? Why a dual CEO-ship of course! Neither Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) nor Xander (Paul Telfer) is exactly thrilled with the compromise, but at least they both got what they wanted…right?
Upon learning of his father’s condition, Brady returns home and heads straight for the hospital. He and Marlena (Deidre Hall) catch up and Brady assures her that he will not be returning to Paris – or to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) – until John has fully recovered.
A short while later, Brady heads to the chapel in order to pray and he runs into Eric (Greg Vaughan), whom he makes the same promise to. Then he leaves for his bed at the Salem Inn…and finds Kristen anxiously awaiting his return!
Brady admonishes her for risking her freedom in order to be by his side, but Kristen insists that all will be well. Besides, she’s getting a little assistance in avoiding detection from Lani (Sal Stowers).
In other Salem news, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) confront an intruder – and it’s most likely Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), whom spoilers have getting reacquainted with Claire (Isabel Durant).
Also, Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn) double down in their efforts to find out who poisoned her, Belle (Martha Madison) has it out with Sami and then has her first encounter with the newly-returned Philip, and Sami (Alison Sweeney) uses a surprise witness to bolster her custody suit.
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) – with an assist from Marlena – begins to remember what happened that fateful afternoon and Ciara’s fate is revealed: She’s a prisoner of the diabolical Dr. Vincent (Michael Teh).
Finally, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) say their last goodbyes to friends and family, while Bonnie (Judi Evans) comforts a melancholy Justin (Wally Kurth). Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
