Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 31 promise a curious slip, a runaway groom, and a reason to celebrate. You will not want to miss a minute of the Salem-style drama!
Where’s Tony?
“Nicole’s” (Arianne Zucker) plot to become Mrs. DiMera and pull the rug out from under Stefan (Brandon Barash) goes off the rails when Tony (Thaao Penghlis) takes off. He agreed to marry his sister but is he having second thoughts about the whole ordeal?
He was “dead” for ten years so hopping back into Salem society, marrying “Nicole,” and making a play for DiMera may be a little much. (And poor Anna may learn she’s been carrying around an empty urn.)
Of course, this will not stop her from bragging. Spoilers show she flaunts her up and coming status bump and it’ll drive everyone in earshot bonkers. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) even begin to wonder how big the threat really is.
Meanwhile, Will (Chandler Massey) catches onto a rather odd hole in Ted’s (Gilles Marini) story and goes to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) with the deets.
There is something fishy going here and Hope realizes her new man isn’t being honest. Ted swore he was a changed man but it seems that may just be a big old lie.
Will Ted finally fess up and spill all? It will be the best thing for him. Clearing the air could mean getting rid of Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and finally being free.

Romance Rising
Expect some hot romance when Lani (Sal Stowers) takes Eli out to celebrate. Eli’s (Lamon Archey) new job is a big deal and she couldn’t be more proud. He definitely deserves to be on top.
