The Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, April 2, 2020, tease Miss Vitali coming clean, a number of truths coming to light, and a face-off with an old enemy.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights

Ava (Tamara Braun) hasn’t been completely honest about her whereabouts the night Charlie (Mike Manning) died – and she’s finally ready to make a clean breast of it. So, with tears aplenty, Ava sits Nicole (Arianne Zucker) down and confesses all.

Turns out she did leave Rafe’s (Galen Gering) house rather than remain inside until dawn. And she did indeed go to her son’s apartment. Heck, she even let herself inside, and sat beside the young man as he died!

But that’s all she did. Cross her heart, stick a needle in her eye, the whole works. She did NOT shoot Charlie. He was already bleeding to death when she found him. Ava may be a lying liar who lies, but she’s not a murder. Well, she’s not Charlie’s murderer…maybe.

Deal Me Out

Over at the SPD, Rafe has an unexpected revelation for Sami (Alison Sweeney) regarding the crime she stands accused of committing. Mmm…make that the crime she confessed to committing.

But since it’s obvious that the Dudley Do Right stand-in isn’t aware of Ava’s connection to the felony, what new evidence has come to his attention? Is it possible someone saw Tripp (Lucas Adams) entering the deceased’s residence? Don’t forget, he showed up at Charlie’s raring for a fight – perhaps things got a little out of hand.

Or, is it possible that forensics was able to prove the validity of Sami’s claim that she shot Charlie only after he was dead? That might go a long way in convincing the D.A. to dismiss the charges.

Date With Destiny

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) have the unenviable task of confronting a recently woke Jan (Heather Lindell). Might her particular brand of crazy be deemed by her latest comeuppance?

Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) worries what Jan’s recovery will mean for John (Drake Hogestyn). Though, to be honest, it could only help his defense.

One convo with that woman would be enough to convince any judge and jury that she could drive a decent human being to snap. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
