The Days of our Lives spoilers for January 20-24, 2020, reveal a week full of plot hole-filling flashbacks that tell of a Mother’s Day from hell that ended with the deaths of three individuals.
Viewers have been waiting for these holes to be filled in so they can follow the storylines better and this is the week a lot of it starts coming together, but still not all…
Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) demand that Brady (Eric Martsolf) speak to her about the night their baby passed triggers a series of flashbacks that seek to answer all the lingering questions following the one-year time jump.
One of the most startling things we learn is the fact that Kristen and Brady’s child is alive and well and being raised by Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer). It turns out that it was Sarah’s baby who didn’t survive but thanks to Xander’s little switcheroo, the new mother was none the wiser.

But, with a little prodding from Uncle Vic (John Aniston), Xander set about framing poor innocent Will (Chandler Massey) for the crime and scrubbing away any and all evidence that could point to his new bestie — and Victor’s wife. Boy, talk about an eventful holiday!
In other Salem news, Eli (Lamon Archey) has a dream about Lani (Sal Stower), Shawn (Brandon Beemer) returns to town to learn something is amiss with his mother, and Eric (Greg Vaughan) feels betrayed by Nicole (Arianne Zucker) — again.
Meanwhile, the reason for Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony’s (Thaao Penghlis) exit is revealed as Sonny (Freddie Smith) tells Justin (Wally Kurth) that he and Will have signed their divorce papers.
While on the topic of Sonny and Will, spoilers say the former continues to grow ever closer to Evan and the latter is thrown for a loop when Ciara lets him know that he didn’t kill Adrienne. Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
