The Days of our Lives spoilers for February 22-26, 2021, tease an attempted double-cross, a substitution, and a whodunit mystery beginning.
After learning from her mother that Charlie (Mike Manning) will probably never face prosecution for the crime he perpetrated against Allie (Lindsay Arnold), Claire (Isabel Durant) decides to trap him into confessing his heinous deed.
To that end, she lures him over to her house and plays on his vulnerabilities. And much to her relief, he does indeed admit that he raped Allie. However, Claire’s plan is all for naught. Charlie notices her recording device, manages to destroy it, and then he goes in for the attack. Luckily Belle (Martha Madison) intervenes, though Claire is left severely shaken.
Vivian (Linda Dano) eavesdrops on Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Susan discussing their plan to switch places and demands a favor in exchange for her silence – the newly sprung Kristen must break up Jake (Brandon Barash) and Kate (Lauren Koslow).
When Kristen agrees, Vivian fakes a heart attack, which provides the look-alikes the perfect opportunity to make the changeover. “Susan” then makes a beeline for John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) townhouse…
While visiting Brady (Eric Martsolf), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) reveals that Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) kissed her…and then accused her of still having feelings for Brady when she pulled away.
Brady isn’t too thrilled to hear that his uncle is making yet another play for their respective ex, and he’s even less so when “Susan” bursts onto the scene and begins insinuating herself into his recuperation.
John and Allie voice their respective desire to kill Charlie, and they, along with several other Salemites, head out under the cover of darkness. By the time a new day dawns, Charlie is found dead, Ava (Tamara Braun) is informed of the passing, and a plethora of suspects are interviewed.
In other Salem news, Sarah has a surprise for Xander (Paul Telfer), Gabi has a warning for Gwen (Emily O’Brien), and Jack (Matthew Ashford) asks Abigail (Marci Miller) to have some compassion for her sister.
Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) helps Allie, who’s having a tough time with baby Henry. Later, he informs Steve (Stephen Nichols) that he wants to be a continued presence in the life of his nephew.
Finally, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) share yet another dream, as Evan (Brock Kelly), Ciara’s newest jailer, goes against Orpheus’s (George DelHoyo) wishes. Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
