Xander’s (Paul Telfer) gallant effort to scare Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) into leaving Gwen (Emily O’Brien) results in him becoming a murderer – but it’s not like anyone will miss the persnickety physician.
All that remains now, is for Xander and Gwen to dispose of the body…but how to do that with both Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) suddenly buzzing about the place?
Yay or Nay
The tensions over the running of DiMera Enterprises reach a fever pitch and culminates in EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), Chad (Billy Flynn), and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) staging a coup against Jake (Brandon Barash).
And while the incumbent CEO and his girlfriend scramble to round up the necessary number of votes to keep him in power, it becomes mighty clear, mighty quickly that it’s Kate (Lauren Koslow) who’ll be the deciding factor.
Now Here This
Brady (Eric Martsolf) is floored to overhear Nicole (Arianne Zucker) admit to her one-night stand with Xander, and he confronts his ex. Once Nicole explains the circumstances, and the subsequent blackmail that she’s endured, Brady promises to help get her out from under Xander’s thumb.
Odds and Ends
In other Salem news, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) tries to lure Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) away from Brady, and Roman (Josh Taylor) has a question for his youngest daughter – what, exactly, is up between her and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo)?
Meanwhile, Rafe (Galen Gering) bonds with Lucas over their mutual hatred for EJ, and makes a confession to Eli (Lamon Archey) – might it have something to do with the steamy dream that the good detective had about Nicole?
Finally, Lani (Sal Stowers) eavesdrops on Paulina (Jackée Harry) on a very telling phone call, and she forces her auntie to come clean about her latest scheme. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
