Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 18 reveal a day of danger and suspense both in and out of Salem.

Feeling Trapped
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time. Eric (Greg Vaughan) had found her and let her know he still wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Finally, she and Holly would feel safe.
After all, ever since Xander (Paul Telfer) showed up, her life has been anything but that. He’s held her freedom and her life as a mother in his hands because of that darn taped confession he managed to steal from the Kiriakis safe.
But now her future is looking brighter thanks to Eric, the man she’s loved for decades. As she prepares for their future together, Xander returns — and his threats throw into question whether that future with Eric will ever happen.
Looking For Their Future
Unaware of what’s happening back at the apartment, Eric and Sami (Alison Sweeney) break into Xander’s warehouse.
Eric’s determined to find that recording so he can free Nicole from her nightmare while Sami’s sure that all roads will lead to her finding EJ — ending her own nightmare. Will either of them find what they’re looking for?

Gabi (Camila Banus) feels like she’s so close to her revenge plot being fulfilled but Chad (Billy Flynn) has been resistant.

She knows sheb has to kick things up a notch. To that end, she tries to make Chad believe that Abigail has turned violent. Will she be able to shake his faith in his wife completely?
Wishful Thinking
One person already on board with Gabi gaslighting Abigail (Marci Miller) is Stefan (Tyler Christopher).
He tells Abby he’s certain Gabby is back. She knows how badly he wishes that were true, since he’s still in love with that part of her, but will she be able to convince him that he’s totally wrong?
Abby just feels differently this time, and although she suspects Gabi is doing something to her, she’s not quite sure what.
