Days of Our Lives spoilers for April 30th – May 4th promise a week of shock and surprises both in an out of Salem as May sweeps starts off with a bang.
A Triangle’s Brewing
Brady (Eric Martsolf) starts the week in the hospital with Eve (Kassie DePaiva) devastated that she lashed out at him just before he collapsed. Of course, she has no idea why he really collapsed.
She keeps vigil outside his hospital room, but neither have any clue the reason Brady is there is because of what’s going on in Mexico–and who’s in Mexico.
Not only is Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) there because she’s been kidnapped, but yep, Theresa (Jen Lilley) is still there trying to bring down Mateo.
Of course, this same drug lord was after Chloe so the two meet and it looks like Theresa has been living like a prisoner all this time, but at least a well-dressed prisoner with the freedom to move about the compound as she pleases–to an extent.
When the two women meet, it’s clear both plan to escape together, and when they do, Brady will be in for the shock of his life.
Confused Lucas
And then there’s poor Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). He’s clueless as to why Chloe left him after things were going so well and he fights the temptation to take a drink.

Meanwhile, Gabigail (Marci Miller) is now in custody and takes out her fury and frustration on Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Chad (Billy Flynn)–because they are keeping her from Stefan, the one man she feels understands and loves her.
Jennifer is still trying to process all that’s happened to her daughter and she lays into Stefan (Tyler Christopher). But, what’s going on inside Abigail’s head is fascinating.
Dr. Laura is trying to get control to clean up the situation, but a very confused Abigail is also vying to get loose and she has no idea what’s really going on.
When Dr. Laura finally emerges, Chad begs her to let Abigail free, but Abigail is busy. It seems she has to fight off an old foe in her mind. Who wants to bet his name is Batty Ben?
Gabi (Camila Banus) finally wakes after her attack and is stunned to learn what’s going on with Abigail and how it landed her in jail.
Lost And…Found!
We also have three women still locked in a room under the DiMera mansion who figure they’ll drink the night away.
While there, Vivian (Louise Sorel) tells Kate (Lauren Koslow) about Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) secret.
However, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Paul (Christopher Sean) eventually find them and Kate is the one to inform Chad what’s really going on with his wife.
Odds And Ends
In other Salem news, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have a heart-to-heart about his condition and Leo (Greg Rikaart) helps Sonny (Freddie Smith) out of a sticky situation.
