JJ (Casey Moss) knows that Theresa (Jen Lilley) didn’t leave cocaine lying around his apartment and hates to see her suffer and possibly lose custody of Tate because of a dirty tactic of someone else’s invention.
Determined to save her, JJ heads to the hearing so that he can take the fall. He couldn’t help Lani be with her child, but he’ll be damned if stands by and watches Theresa lose hers.

The tide keeps turning at the custody hearing. Knowing that things are starting to wrap up, Theresa and Brady (Eric Martsolf) each make one last plea to the judge in their quest to win custody of Tate.
