Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for December 18-22 promise an emotional and stunning week for JJ as he prepares to do that unthinkable.
Sheer Desperation
JJ (Casey Moss) cannot live with himself any longer. He can’t even believe he was cleared of wrongdoing by Internal Affairs when in his heart, he was absolutely in the wrong.
The guilt is just too much for him and he starts writing goodbye letters to all his loved ones and even gives his possessions away.
After talking to his mother one last time on the phone, he remembers the life he once led, including moments with Jack, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), and Abby (Marci Miller).

As Matthew Ashford makes an appearance, he’s there for JJ in spirit to guide him through his search for some meaning in life and reason to live.
The Heart To Forgive?
Later in the week, Valerie (Vanessa Williams) encourages Lani (Sal Stowers) not to give up on JJ and Jennifer pleads with Abe (James Reynolds) to find a way to forgive her son. However, Abe also gets very bad news about Theo (Kyler Pettis) next week.
Horton Mayhem
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) continues to cause trouble in Salem. She may open up to Hope (Kristian Alfonso), but Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Ciara get into it at the Horton ornament hanging party. Hopefully, the tree survives.
Kiriakis Mayhem
