Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 2nd promise a day of romance in the air, as Eric has a very special question to ask his latest love! You’re not going to want to miss a moment of this romantic episode!

Engaging News!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) made a touching speech to his brother Brady (Eric Martsolf) about how Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has been the best woman in his life yet… even better than Nicole (Arianne Zucker).

Meanwhile, Jennifer just learned from Eve (Kassie Depaiva) that Nicole never stopped loving Eric but instead was forced to leave him and leave town by Brady.

As she wrestled with whether or not to tell Eric, he made a very important decision.

While at the Brady Pub – his family’s establishment – Eric proposes to Jennifer! Will she say yes to the man she loves, or will she be plagued by feelings of guilt, knowing that there’s a woman out there who may still be very much in love with him?

Moving On
Chad (Billy Flynn) continues to struggle with thinking Abigail (Marci Miller) is having Stefan’s baby, but agrees to try to work things out. This means the world to Abigail, but she can’t help worrying that it might be too much for Chad.

After all, she still remembers when they started to get close, and when Chad pulled back after he flashed to finding her in bed with his brother. Will either of them really be able to move forward with a life together?

Gabi (Camila Banus) saw Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) having a secret meeting.

Now she ends up confessing her scheme, duping everyone to think Stefan is the father to Abby’s baby, to Kate, hoping to gain an ally.

Has she forgotten how close Chad and Kate are? He’s like a son to her. Will Kate be ready to turn on Gabi, and if she does, will she end up regretting threatening Gabi?

Fresh Start
Steve (Stephen Nichols) was understandably miserable while blind, but everything has changed now that he can see again… except that he has been cooped up in the hospital and he’s ready to be sprung.

Well, it looks like he’s about to get his wish, as he and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) celebrate his release from the hospital.
