Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) can’t believe what Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) are trying to prove about him. There’s no way, no matter how unstable he may have been off his meds, that he would have tried to kill Ciara.

Proving his innocence isn’t going to be that easy and he needs to turn to a surprising source to make it happen. He asks Marlena (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize him to remember what happened.

Will what she does give him the information he needs to clear his name? And even if he does recall it all, will Hope and Rafe ever take his word for anything or are they just as determined to railroad him back into custody?

Turning Up the Heat
Tripp (Lucas Adams) is growing closer to Ciara (Victoria Konefal), but he also can’t handle the fact that she seems to believe in Ben of all people.

The guy is a killer and everyone else seems to know that about him.

He tries convincing Ciara it had to be Ben who set the fire. After all, who else could it have been? But, will his attack on Ben get in the way of him trying to rekindle their relationship?

Abigail (Marci Miller) is thrilled that Chad (Billy Flynn) is back and at least willing to try to find a way to live with her decision about keeping the baby. As the two get close again, they feel the baby kick for the first time.

Will this moment bond them together or will it just reopen the wound that Chad is already having a problem trying to close?

Daddy Dearest
Chad may not be thrilled about the baby but Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is over the moon about the child he thinks is his. He opens up to Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) about his attachment to Abigail’s baby and sees it as a sign that his love for Gabby was real.

He also can’t wait to try to be the kind of father he wished he had and to make his own father proud. Will Chloe be a sounding board or will she end up sounding off?
