Days of our Lives Spoilers: Chanel and Maggie Come To Major Decisions

Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 22, highlight two women who announce their plans for the future, as Maggie knows what she needs to do about Konstantin, and Chanel tells Johnny her plans for their baby.

Hoisted By His Own Petard

Konstantin (John Kapelos) thinks he’s got Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) completely blinded. He doesn’t know that Marlena (Deidre Hall) hypnotized John (Drake Hogysten) into betraying him. And now, the three of them are all working to bring the greedy Greek down.

And, as an added bonus, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is moving back into the Kiriakis mansion, and he’s invited Theresa (Emily O’Brien). Considering that she is part of Konstantin’s schemes to end up with his nemesis’ fortune, it’s only a matter of time before Maggie catches them all in a lie. And then the fun will really begin!

Pro Choice

Johnny (Carson Boatman) keeps telling Chanel (Raven Bowens) that he won’t tell her what to do about her pregnancy since it’s her body. And Chanel quite sensibly reminds him that it is her body but their baby.

Personally, we think Johnny is pretending to be a sensitive, modern man as a way to avoid taking responsibility for either decision. So he’s dumping it all on Chanel. And Chanel has made up her mind. Like Madonna in Papa Don’t Preach, she’s keeping her baby.

Headed Home

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) announces that the Horton house has been rebuilt, and she and Doug (Bill Hayes) can move back in. Will Chad (Billy Flynn) and the kids be joining them? Or is Chad finally a big enough boy to live on his own?

Two Can Keep a Secret If One of Them is Dead

Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) were already caught together by Leo (Greg Rikaart — did you know this about him?). They begged him not to run the story, and he agreed. (Though we are hard-pressed to guess who would care about two, non-celebrity teens sitting on a bench together, even if her stepdad is a DiMera.) So, because they really want to keep their relationship a secret, Tate tells Aaron. And because Tate is very stupid.
