Days of our Lives Spoilers: Chanel and Johnny Get News About Their Baby

Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, June 12, advise Chanel and Johnny that the test results on their unborn baby are back, so it’s time to stop speculating and start making concrete plans.

Mama Is Going To See To It

Thanks to Paulina (Jackée Harry) going rogue, breaking out of the hospital, and taking off looking for her precious baby in a snowstorm, she exposed a pregnant Chanel (Raven Bowens) to radiation poisoning. Now, there’s a possibility Paulina’s grandbaby may pay the price for her actions (though we have no doubt Paulina will find a way to make it all about her instead).

Chanel has decided that she’ll continue with her pregnancy no matter what. Johnny (Carson Boatman) keeps nodding like a bobblehead and telling Chanel he’ll support her whatever she decides—the better to avoid taking any responsibility and making the decision himself. But Chanel made her initial choice based on meeting Felicity (Kennedy Garcia), a customer with Down’s Syndrome. What if she learns her child’s issues may be much, much worse?

Self Awareness

But Chanel and Johnny aren’t the only ones forced to face a cruel reality. There is also Leo (Greg Rikaart). It has finally crossed his mind that he might not be a pleasant person. It’s not his fault, of course. It’s his distant mother’s, his abusive father’s, and society’s.

He’s just too unique, too special. That’s why he has such trouble finding love. It’s not the blackmail tendencies or the utter lack of human feeling or, you know, his entire personality. Leo decides it’s time to fix those tiny little character flaws. So he turns to Marlena (Deidre Hall). She beat the devil. Surely, she can beat some sense into him.

Retainer Fee

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel, who discussed this plot recently) has never liked Eric (Greg Vaughan). Eric thinks he knows why. EJ particularly seems hostile to him now. Eric has no idea why. And, being Eric, he fails utterly to read the room when he turns to EJ for legal advice. Let’s see if EJ just blows him off—or takes advantage of the situation to make sure Eric is never a threat to him again.
