Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, August 9, zero in on Stefan preparing to tell all to Gabi while Jada does the same to Paulina.
Confession Is Good for the Soul
While Gabi (Cheri Jimenez) was rotting away in prison, Stefan (Brandon Barash) slept with Ava (Tamara Braun). Hey, better men have cheated on their wives for worse reasons.
Now, he is terrified that Gabi might find out. Especially since Connie (Julie Dove) knows about it. So Stefan is considering beating Gabi’s assistant to the punch and telling his wife himself. He’ll get Brownie points for honesty that way. Right?
Had I But Known
Jada (Elia Cantu) is sad that Rafe (Galen Gering) is in a coma after being stabbed. Now that EverBob (Blake Berris) has “confessed” to the crime (we know it was really a setup by Connie), Jada is also sad that she didn’t figure it out earlier and saved Rafe — and EverBob. Jada unburdens her feelings of guilt to Paulina (Jackée Harry). Who politely doesn’t remind her that they had this exact same conversation on Tuesday?
Paulina is one of those empathetic mayors. She lets her employees whine about their problems to their heart’s content. Who needs to balance Salem’s budget when tissues need to be handed out?
Bad Vibes
So Connie is at the center of both Stefan and Jada’s confessions…and now she’s about to stick her nose into Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) business, too. The DiMera newlyweds cross paths with the psycho. And it doesn’t go well. Does anything ever with Connie?
Broken Heart Salve
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is also sad about dead EverBob. But, unlike Jada, she doesn’t vent to Paulina. She vents to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson).
Alex is sad because Theresa (Emily O’Brien) lied to him. And because he’s not Victor’s (John Aniston) son anymore. Alex whines to Stephanie. It looks like these two are on their way back together, for a pity party, at least.
