Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, August 8, offer more evidence that Holly and Tate are the unluckiest teens who ever hit Salem. Nothing is going their way. Surely, this has never happened to anyone else before!
What’s the Matter With Kids Today?
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) was called out by Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for lying about her summer plans. The problem is that Holly can’t tell Maggie — or anybody — why she’s doing Sophia’s (Madelyn Kientz) summer job for her (though she certainly blasts Sophia about it). Or where she’s disappearing when she’s not there.
We know that Holly is sneaking off to canoodle with Tate (Leo Howard). The same Tate who Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) think is off at lacrosse camp, doing rich kid things. But while Theresa is too busy feeling sorry for herself about the break-up with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), Brady is paying enough attention to catch his son in Salem. Oops. Busted!
Who Can It Be Now?
Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Chad (Billy Miller) went looking for Abigail… but found John (Drake Hogysten). Along with Abigail’s bracelet. (Does anyone remember that Clyde [James Read] stole some of Abigail’s jewelry? Just us? OK….)
Now, they are trying to figure out what it all means. While a mysterious woman eavesdrops on them from the shadows.
I’ll Be There For You
Paul (Sean Christopher) is worried about his dad and his stepmother, Marlena (Deidre Hall). He brings his problems home for his boyfriend, Andrew (Colton Little).
Andrew knows about problematic relatives. He just finished dealing with Theresa and all her many, many lies. So he can offer Paul a shoulder to cry on—if not exactly a solution. But they’re two of the most well-adjusted legacy characters in Salem. They should work very hard to stay that way.
