Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, April 16, demonstrate that Sami and Kate’s polite small talk on Monday’s episode didn’t come close to what they really wanted to say to each other. But Roman was there, so they had to play nice. Now Roman isn’t there. Which means the gloves can come off.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) animosity goes back decades. Most of it is over Lucas (Bryan Datillo). But also Will (Chandler Massey) and Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and Sydney. Also Austin. And Rafe (Galen Gering). Lots of animosity is what we are saying.
Now, Sami isn’t thrilled that Kate told Johnny (Carson Boatman) about EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) raping Sami in exchange for saving Lucas’ life. Well, Kate wasn’t thrilled with Sami marrying the man who did that. It’s time for them to discuss it. Loudly.

Denying Demands
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) invited Vivian (Louise Sorel) to move into the Kiriakis Mansion. He wasn’t happy to do it. But he did it. He couldn’t risk Vivian spilling about Philip’s latest secrets. He talked Xander (Paul Telfer) into going along with it.
But Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is a different story. Maggie does not want the woman who almost killed her living in Maggie’s house. And she isn’t shy about telling Philip to kick her to the curb. Meanwhile, Xander isn’t giving in to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) either. Will either Kiriakis brother get their way in the end?

Sibling Strife
The Hernandez siblings also have a lot to sort out. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) isn’t pleased that JJ (Casey Moss) questioned her about the night of EJ’s shooting. Does he really think she’d do something like that? (Again?)
As for Rafe, he thought he was done with Jada (Elia Cantu). Well, Jada isn’t done with him. He is going to listen to her, and, this time, he’s going to hear her.
